i have a 15W aquarium light made by all-glass aquarium that will not work. it is in a hood over my 10g tank and i have found if i twist the light in the socket, sometimes it will work. does anyone have any idea why my light doesn't work?

Have you made sure all your cords or connected securely and you don't have a faulty bulb or light fixture? For that type of bulb you do need to twist it in most of the way so it sort of locks in place.

all of the cords are straight, dry, the bulb is brand new
