I got a used 20 gallon aquarium several days ago and have been trying to find all the parts so i can get it up and running and cycling.
It did not come with a light, it came with a hood that has a glass cover where the light would go and a part that goes over top of that but there is no fixture to mount a bulb.
The dimensions of the top of the aquarium from outside to outside are 24" by 12.5" .
I came across something like this .

would this work for me? I am assuming that would completely replace the hood i have now?
