Hmm I guess I will start with my tanks

My 55 gallon





and my betta othellos 2 gallon tank

and othello before he got his own tank..poor lil guy


Hopefully I will get him a bigger tank soon
I would also love to get a sunpodHQI for the 55 gallon and a CO2 system...the plants that are in the pic aren't all there now after treating for ICH browned them out..It is what it is..I just have to exercise patients and it will all work out.

Ok so I spent all my paycheck on the fish on friday...what a surprise.
Got othello a new home...a 6.6 gallon That I saw and wanted last time I was at the store...so of course I had to buy plants and decor for it..It's the same theme as his two gallon..so for now I guess teh 2 gallon will be a small fry tank. i also go a very expensive light for teh 55 gallon it's not teh HQI that I wanted but it is a high wattage light for the plants..so I guess I'm getting closer to my goals of having the tank set up the way I want it.
In other news..My female guppy and my silver veil tail are still in the hospital tank with camallanus. I am now medicating everyday instead of everyother day..This stupid parasite is not going away...They might just have to finish living out their lives in the hopital tank which would be very sad.
The GBR did not have a successfull spawning...the eggs were bad but I know they will try again....and that is it for now

That's cool. I just ordered the large dragon airstone that breathes bubbles from Pet Smart. It should be here any day and I'll be adding it to my 29.

As for your guppy and veil tail, I hope they're doing better.

Nope..I'm about to start them on a different medication though..However, The female guppy is starting to show signs of age so I dont think she will last much longer then the week anyways

So the 6 gallon that I got for othello seems to be all set when I first set it up I added biospira and the corys that are in there now are doing fine...Othellos fungus is clearing up very nicely so hopefully by next week he will be in his bigger less cramped tank....
I want a 40 gallon to use for cichlids so bad..I am beyond ready to start a ciclid tank I know what kind of fish I want for it..but I am trying to do it one step at a time because I know how ahead of myself I can get sometimes...I still need to get my C02 before I do anything else with anytanks and then I have to replant my tank so....breath..Just breath

Finally after treating for about two month the female guppy and my silver angel seem to be rid of the camalanus. I had to try about four different meds to do it but finally the clout killed it off...Good thing too because I was loosing hope and it was sad to see them in the little 10 gallon tank away from their friends. The male from my breeding pair of German blue rams passed..He was fine one day and then gone the next..he looked slightly beat up so I invented this whole story in my head of cause of death being domestic violence...Well, I guess it's time to get a new male and try again. She's all about breeding so I don't think it will be too hard to get her a new partner.

CAMALLANUS CAMALLANUS CAMALLANUS!!!!ARRRRGGGGG
so now my two calico angels are in teh hospital tank as well as all my guppy's just to be on the safe side...I'M going to start treating them this week for the camallanus as well as the main tank so that hopefully I can stop teh life cycle of the camallanus from wherever it is. Othello still has Fungus even though I have been treating him forever..I am so tired of fish disease and illness I just want it to stop...

Your tanks are so pretty. I'm sorry you lost your ram. You sure are having a rough time of it.

LOL..it's a good thing I am a persistant person...Right after the male ram died about a week later the female died so now it's pretty much an angel tank with other highlighted fish...Another strange thing is that out of all the fish that were getting beat up in the tank someone was getting hostile towards the cory's so I had to move them in with othello..It's odd to think that they are safer in the tank with a betta than in a 55 tropical set up The ram loss was really sad too cuz I was trying hard to breed them..so close..but I decided it was time to try a different fish instead....and that is all for now...i think
