hi i want to start a tank that maybe has kuli loaches ans pitcus catfish would this work or wold the kulis get eaten (i think they would) And if they will is there another peacefull fish that has an eel like structure that would be compatible. I thought the dojo loach but it doesnt have that eel structure that the kuhli has

Yeah, i think the cats would eat them.

what size tank? if its big enough, a senegal bichiror an actual eel might be good options

it will be a 150 and there will be some smaller fish like zebra danios in it. Im looking for something peaceful or semi aggressive. If there isnt one is there another great catfish like the pitcus?

senegal bichir, aka dinosaur eel, would be a great choice. they are semi aggressive and will eat small fish they can catch.

pictus cats will eat small fish as well. are you set on them?

Why not just have a bigger kuhli colony. When my 55g was set up as a loach tank there were 22 kuhlis in it . a mixture of stripped an dblack kuhlis and it was really cool. especially at meal times
