| no, they pretty much take care of them self. they are like the hardiest loach i have ever had. and i heard if you keep about 6 or more, there is a slight chance they will mate. but baby kuhlis are so hard look after because they are tiny.
back to the subject, i have friend who has a 170 gallon large community tank and he grew kuhlis, well not really grew but some kuhli eggs were introduced into the tank when he added some plants. he didn't even know until they were about 2 years old!without him knowing they still survived, he said he has about 6 or 7 of them.
once you introduce them, don't be surprised if they disappear completely from the tank. they will hide unseen for about a week while they get use to the tank. they pretty much find their own food, but still feed them.
good luck! |
