What's Wrong With My Kuhli?!?!?!?

I got him the day before yesterday, and he has drastically lost color! Anyone know what's wrong?

I've had friends who say kuhli's can be a little touchy to water paramters. What are your readings for ammonia, nitrite and nitrate?

Also, loaches have been known to lose color when frightened or stress. Have you recently made a water change or rearranged the decorations?

He was dead this morning :-( I think moving from the LFS was too much for him.

I think I might just not get any more... how much bio-load do Maylasian trumpet snails add?

I am sorry you lost him.

I have tried to have YoYos but no success. They are indeed sensitive. They do better in well-established aquariums then newly cycled setup. That's my 2 cents. Maybe consider them a later addition when you've had your tank running for awhile and have room for them of course. They are so cute!
