Hey guys, for some reasons, my coolies always go into the filter, I have to check teh filter every few days to find if they r inside or not. Is there anything i can do to stop them from doing that?

What kind of filter is it? Do you know how they get in there?

You will need to work out how/where they are getting in first.
I would then use some plastic mesh ( no metal ) to cover the entrance as you still want water to flow in your filter.
I dont have any myself, but have heard of this issue happening .

Plastic mesh over the opening of the filter is a start, but if this has happened more than once, then the next question would have to be: Do you have sufficient hiding places in your tank for them to find their comfort zone?

Loaches love little dark hidey-holes, and will cram themselves in the weirdest of places if you don't have ornaments/ rock formations etc. where they can find 'their space'.
