I have 2 black kuli's one started to go to the top of the tank and hang over the heater suction cup like he was dieing or sick 2 days later the other one was doing it to the air hose suction cup now it just depends who get where first on whick one is where. Are they sick or faking I see them eat?

Did you Test your tank? If you don't have a test kit, your LFS will be glad to help when you take some water sample.

yes amonia 0 ,nitrite 0, nitrate 20 using API Master test kit there just acting wierd. no spot on them look healthy. temp is between 75-78 degrees. Was thinking of changing the gravel to sand to make them happier but I would have to tranfer all fish to a 10gal pull sand in then tranfer back same day do I stess all to make 2 happy?

Mine tend to "drape" themselves over things and always have. I think it's just one of their habits. Do keep an eye on them for a few days and continue to keep their water especially clean as they are sensitive to water quaility.

i wouldnt worry about it. for the 1st few months that i had mine they did the same thing. i always thought it was cute. if u give them a cave they will most likely hang out in there rather than draping themselves if ure really worried about it.

hey then they just like to haaaaaang around lol... i wouldnt worry about it. when given the chance, kuhlis will hang out..
mine prefer the cave now i think mostly cuz theyre to lazy to swim.. tee hee

When mine were in the 55G with 80lb of rock caves they still hung off the plants

Good to know was worried about the little guy's I also have a Hillstream Butterfly Loach he is the coolest looking loach I have waiting for the LFS to get more so I can get him a buddy. Once again thank no worries now.

I really wanna get some loaches, my fish store has quite a few clown loaches, but thats all.
