what does it mean when the male krib vibrates its body in front of the female....i thought only the female did that.....he has been doing that today...and the female has not done it today....its weird...

Hello Raptors. From what I've read (I don't have these fish personally) the female "usually" initiates the mating process. This doesn't mean that it's "always" the case. As long as you have them sexed correctly it just sounds like the male is trying to start the process. Here is a link you may find interesting if you haven't seen it:

I have 2 pairs of kribs. One pair its the female who vibrates and arches; in the other its the male... in this pair the female is still quite young so maybe thats a reason?

maybe she has a good size...at first she would do the vibrating, but now its only him....like they reversed roles....funny....hope they will still spawn.
