On behalf of a friend.

My friend has a problem with his internet router, which FL doesn't like, so he can't sign up.

So he wanted me to ask this.

He recently purchased a proven breeding pair of Kribs.

Put them in a newly cycled 19.5 gallon tank.

Girl kills male.

Now he'd quite like to know what to do with his male, as he has a pretty much empty tank, and not too much to do with it.

Thanks in anticipation Fishlorians!

Sorry I was just a little confused because you said he'd like to know what to do with his male...So he actually has a female left in the tank??
Does he want a breeding pair or would he rather add some different fish into the tank with the krib that is left?

Oh gosh I should've had an earlier night!

Yeah, he has a single female in the tank. He was thinking of adding five tiger barbs but I'm not sure how it''d work.

I'm actually not sure how that would work either..I dont' have personal experience with kribs but they are a more peaceful cichlid and we all know tiger barbs are the nippiest little things that ever swam. What is his pH??. He could add some other dwarf cichlids but it kinda sounds like he has a mean little krib..lol..Was he positive that he had a male and female not two males..

I'm no expert on kribs, but I've heard they do well in peaceful tropical communities, so that might be an option for him.

His community is a 100 gallon, with 3 angel pairs, Platies galore, neons and cardinals and lots of cories. And Sharky my shark.

I'll suggest

It's a lovely tank, I'm super duper jealous lol I think he'll transfer over Mrs Kribbikins (his name for her, not mine) and put the tigers in the 20 gallon.

Thanks for the input guys!
