krib pair question

i have a questiong i have pretty active male krib, but does not pay much attention to the female krib....when he comes by, she tries to get his attention, but he stays for a second and then leaves.....is that normal....i want them to breed, but don't see much hope. They are both albino kribs....

It depends on how long you have had them. Kribs can take a while to pair up, and even longer to breed. They need caves to spawn in as well.

Thats not long enough. It took my Kribs a couple of months before their first spawn. Be patient and it'll happen.

ok now i'm seeing my female krib acting more quietly, keeping to herself, hiding in the plants and next to a cave. When i feed the fish i never see her attempt to eat anything.....her belly does look a little pointy though...any thoughts

if there is a tube pointing out near her anal then she is ready to lay eggs also if you dont see her for a few days get a flash light and check in every hidding place in the tank you may be lucky then to find her with some eggs. when she lays them she will stay in there and fan them while the male stays outside of where she has laid eggs and he will guard them.3-4 days later the eggs will turn into wrigglers and 4-7 days after that they will become free swimming fry. also when she lays the eggs if they are white they are not furtilized but if they are yellow or an orengy colour they are furtilized
