I recently(today) got 2 Kribs. While I had the bag floating the in the tank I thought I'd take a little look at them and noticed the the male was picking at the female. He wasn't doing it constantly but every once in a while he would. The female didn't seem to have a problem with this because she didn't move when he did it. Is this something I should be worried about or is this type of behavior normal?

I've added the fish to the tank now and they seem to be fine but the male will still pick at the female every once in while, though now shes starting to move away when he does it. The tank they were in at the pet store hand about 15 other kribs in with them, so I was wondering if this could really just be a pairing issue.

Good morning. I've merged your two posts. Don't forget there is an "Edit" key for additional thoughts and corrections at the bottom of every post.
Thanks!
Ken

most likely it is a pairing issue mine did the same thing just leave them and they will settle it out themselves. it may take a month for them to get used to each other. it took mine about a month and a half after my first male died then i got a new male and the nipping started so i gave him 2 weeks and he still niped her so i got another male and he and my female are a pair now. just give them time or swap for another male or try weekly water changes and feed them thing like bloodworm 1 or 2 times a week. mine sometimes have the occasional nip they are having one now which will last a day or 2 so try that and see how you go

good luck
