Life is just not fair!

Was in my LFS today to pick up some BN's for the fry tank and as I always do I wandered over to the 99p tank to see what had been dropped off to be rehomed and there in the bottom were 4 delightful juve kribs ranging from 1 1/2 - 1 3/4" and it is at this point I realise the only tank I have spare is 10gal and no prospects of getting anything bigger free anytime soon so I left them there.

Was that the right thing to do or would they have been able to co-exist in the 10 gal?

Mind you it wasn't a complete waste of time I did get some albino BN's (i'm sure one is a male as well! hard to be sure at the age they are) and I rescued a beautiful looking juve male lyretail guppy from the feeder tank.

Oh it was, it was, I stood there thinking .... hmm no room in community tank and even if there was not compatible.

I only have 2 tanks bigger than 10 gal and they would really enjoy sharing the fry tank .... won't have many fry left in a short space of time so thats out.

I put a lot of effort into selecting the right breeding stock to see what I could produce at F1 and F2 stages.

still will be visiting my bro this week and I am sure he has a spare tank or two!

I admire your strength Jonah, i would have taken them and then have made an empty promise to myself to get a big tank.

problem is I know in my heart that I don't have space for another tank of 20-30gals I already have 3 in the lounge a 230ltr a 100ltr and a 35 ltr so something has to give.

Just to show how FL helps though a few months ago I would have bought them without having the slightest notion of the requirements of the fish, but simply cause they looked nice!

Heck I even walked out of a fish store today because of the stocking in in some of their tanks.

Pink don't read this but they had MBU puffers in FW tanks of about 20 gals each with chichlids and mollies sharing them!
