will my kribs pair up?

I was just wondering what the chances are of my Kribs pairing up to breed? I've had 2 females for about a month and I just got one male today. The females already have their own cave and have been "dancing" to all the other fish in the tank for about a month. I just decided today that I'd try my hand at breeding them so I went and got a male. There is a possibilty that they all came from the same brood (right word?) and I'm not sure if this will matter. Also if two of them pair up will the third feel left out?

breeding kribs is moderatly easy, you are doing the right thing by having more females than males the males can be aggresive at times (like so many other fish) and having more than one female will divert his attention. When they lay there eggs the parents will defend a large area aggresively, which is why it is not recomended to breed them in a coumunity setting. --Good luck!

My female I had was super aggressive and killed the male when they bred last year.
They are a pairing fish so you only need 1 male and 1 female. As soon as he picks a female or one picks him. Remove the extra female.
I had mine breed in a 50g with 5 diamond tetra, they were fine defending the tank against the tetra. As soon as I removed the tetra, they turned on each other. So whatever setup you have them after they lay eggs don't change anything. Chnages make them upset when they have babies on the way.

allie described it well.
once u establish a pair remove any other kribs or similar fish
and kreep any dither fish as long as they are fast such as tetras.
if u dont have any.. get some.

I know this is an old thread but just to let everyone know, I had two kribs pair finally. Unfortunetly I broke my foot and was not able to get the other female out in time I went to the hospital and by the time I got home it was too late. For the last few days I haven't seen the female and the male has been "standing" gaurd outside their territory so hopefully I'll have some baby fishes soon. Thanks for the responses everyone
