This is the frst time for me so just wondering about the saftey of the eggs. I know the parents protect them but I have 2 golden gouramis in there and didn't know if the eggs will be safe over night.

if you can leave a room light on over night it should help them feel more secure. ive never kept kribs, but with my breeding pair of blue rams in the community tank, i just leave the lights on in the room and the eggs have always been fine.

Thanks! Woke up this morning and they are doing good. Man, kribs make great parents. They are no joke protecting them.

I'm confused, now I don't see any eggs but they are still being protective.What happened to the eggs!!! I don't think the gouramis ate them b/c they are terrified of the kribs.

Well, since I couldn't figure out what happened to the eggs I stared looking around to see if they were moved.They were! Now they are on the bottom of a leaf all of them! So all is well. I had to move one of the gouramis to my 125 gallon b/c the poor guy was getting beat up. I'm pretty sure he is happy now.
