I think that would work out great!

If you are planning on setting up another tank in December, a good idea would be to get a extra sponge that you can add to your filter for now. It will collect good bacteria for you and when you are ready to start the 29, you can add it to the filter and help jump start the cycle process quickly.
Just remember that Clown Loaches grow to 12 inches each! In time that 29 will be too small for them as well.
I noticed your other thread on breeding Kribs. You can move all your inhabitants (except kribs) that you have in your 15 to the 29 when the time comes. Leave only the kribs in the 15 and add your female there. While waiting for your 29, you can start to read up and research what is needed to breed Kribs...
