Housing regular and albino together?

I recently got my hands on 7 kribs. 4 of them are regular (with the black stripe) and 3 are albino. They are so cute and adorable! They are only about 1/3" right now and I can't tell the gender yet.

Q: Should I keep them in different tanks or would it be ok for them to be kept in the same tank? What sort of spawn would the next generation be if a regular one mates with an albino? I'd imagine just regular with recessive albino genes.

In general, albino tend to be a bit weaker in health because of the inbreeding to achieve and retain the albino gene. For the health of the fish, it might make sense to mix them. But it would be cool to have at least a breeding pair of albino to get some cute fry out of.

Q: Do they grow fairly quickly in size? My livebearers grow fast and my rainbow grow pretty slowly. I'm wondering how long before they are mature/big enough for me to start seeing the amazing colors I've seen online. As I mentioned, they are still pretty tiny right now, no more than 1/3" of the largest ones. I wonder when (in terms of size) they would start breeding.

I'm very excited about them!

Yes, they can be housed together.
You are correct, the fry would appear to be regular colored fish but would throw a percentage of albino in their fry.
Most commonly available albino fish inthe hobby are not weaker, as they have been back crossed to non albino fish like in your first question.

They grow fairly fast, depending on temperature, food, tank size, water change frequency, ect...

I would not expect any breeding until the fish are at least 1.5 inches.
