Kibensis Dying acting weird

I bought 2 kribs a week ago and they were doing fine. They weren't agressive feeders and most food was eaten up befor it got to them at the bottom but i could see some food on the bottom so i'm assuming that they eventually fed. this little guys were so cool that 4 days later i bought 2 more. After a couple of days i found one dead and the other lethargic. The lethargic one died this morning. Now i have 2 left. One is very active and the other hangs in the back of the tank in some plants. My parameters seem okay and all other inhabitants are doing well. I have locahes, danios, angels and zebras.

Any thoughts?? I did notice the aggressive krib picking on the other kribs but do you think that was enough to drive the other one to die?

Please help. I do want to keep kribs but maybe they need to number only two.

When I had Kribs I noticed the aggression between the males. I also read up on them and found that they can be very aggressive with each other (males).
Its very possible that the males fought and one ended up dead. As was the case with mine.
Could be why the others are hanging back, they may be females or just scared of the dominate male?

I have always had trouble keeping kribs as well. Even though they are suppose to be able to be in a community tank, I would be careful of keeping them with angels, as they are both cichlids...it may be a problem.

Others probably have better information on this.

I've noticed that since I added a male into the tank with my two females, the females have even started to be aggressive towards each other. I think it is to prove themselves to the male for breeding purposes. But if you really wanted to keep them all together(all the fish in the tank, I mean), I would get a larger tank for them or if you just wanted the kribensis, I would get a 20-30 gallon tank and put about 3-5 of them. Hope this info helps you as well.
