30g with Kribs and ??

I have a 30g that I am going to put Kribs in, not sure how many-open to suggestions I already have a 75g community tank and wanted something different for this small tank, any suggestions on what other type of fish I can put in would be appreciated. I was thinking of a Pearl Gourami, from what I have researched they will work together.

Hi, Msvicki, WELCOME TO FISHLORE.

Kribs can be kept with many fish, IF THEY AREN'T BREEDING. I might suggest corys or other a variety that isn't territorial.

I have one lone male, he is with my community tank that includes balas, mollys, platies, black ghost knife, corys, and plecos.

If I had a 30 though, I would set it up to try and breed, and just keep it the pair....But that is me and I am jealous of people who have success with breeding kribs.......

Thank you susitna-flower, I just love this site there is so much information. Breeding-didnt think of that. I tried with german blue rams, they laid eggs all of the time but they always diapeared after a few days - so I have given up on the breeding-I think
