How do I know if they have bred?

One of my kribs is being all aggressive and protective of this one cave and won't leave it unless it is to feed. It(I think is a she) won't let any of my other fish near the cave. Please help since I am new to kribs.

Crap, that's not what I wanted at the moment. But I guess I will have to set up another tank for them. Thanks though.

Thats all a goverment lie.

After 56,000 years, the last thing I want is to get even MORE upclose and personal with the monkeys. It's bad enough keeping track of who is naughty and who is nice.

That's it, I'm not talking to you at all now because I don't want to turn out to become something completely different. lol

I checked the cave this morning with my flashlight, and there is nothing in there at all, unless they laid the eggs on the gravel, but I thought they liked to spawn on the side of caves.

How long has this behavior been going on?

The eggs may have hatched and she may be guarding wigglers.

She has been acting like this for a day or two. And anyways, she goes and swims up to the surface for food, she doesn't wait for it to come to her any more since my black neons and harlequins seem to get it long before she even realizes it was there.

Thats too short of a time for her to have had eggs and them hatch.
She may just be guarding her choice of nesting areas.

And for sexing them, the pointier fins mean it is a male and the more red/purple on the belly it is a female. Is that right? Because the one in question has pointy fins and a full red belly which looks like it is full of eggs, so what would that make it? I can't have a pic at the moment because my camera is being borrowed by some one at the moment.

Yes, that is correct.

If she has not laid eggs, it sounds like she will soon.
