Well, after the system crash, I decided to do these over. This tank is currently housing 1 Male CT (Poe) and 2 Peppered Cory's (Bobby and Georgia).

Zaboo was living in a death container (my bad)



Then I had joined this great forum and learned the ways of the Betta (like the ways of the Jedi) from a lot of people, but I would like to give a special thanks to Chickadee . I learned he needed more space. So, armed with $20, I headed to SuperPet and I grabbed a 2.5 Gallon ($14.99) which I heard was the minimum. Then I remembered, Swordtail's are wicked cool, so I wandered off to look at them (NOTE: I wasn't going to put a Swordtail in with Zaboo, it was for my 15). On the way I see 15 gal's $23.99, 20's $35.99, 10's $14.99! Now, I'm not the sharpest crayon in the box, but I knew a deal when I saw one. So I grabbed a 10 and bought it for the same price as a 2.5.

I got home, fill it up, put in the old decorations and then proudly post this picture up on the Betta Board.



I then found I was nowhere near a Betta Master. I had no filter, no heater, no silk plants (I still don't have those ). So off to PetSmart again (after a few arguments from me that Betta's could live in mud puddles), I bought a Visi-Therm Stealth and a Hagen Elite Stingray 10. There, I then posted this picture



Of him swimming happily, and all was well with the force, he was more active then I'd ever seen him, beautiful colours, everything was good. I relized, these old coots know what they're talking about

Well Zaboo died, I was looking all over town for a Betta, everyone in Thunder Bay was out. I even phoned Wal-Mart, and like everyone else, not until after Easter. So I sulked around, and one day when we went there for grocceries, I, being the fish person I am, walked over to the fish stuff. WAL-MART IS FULL OF LIARS 4 Shelves full of CT Betta's, I ran up to them and the guy said "Just got'em in" So I grabbed a blue CT that would be Poe.



Then, after him being by himself for a week, and being extrememly mellow, I decided, he needs some friends. So I researched, bugged everyone on the Betta Board till they wanted to kill me, and decided on two Peppered Cory's. So, I went to Wal-Mart on the day they got their shipment in, and picked two Cat's up.



That was in...April? And they're still getting along great

LOL, I believe that it happens some times. But seriously, for all you new Betta owners, listen to the experienced Betta keepers on here, they know their stuff inside out
