I would say that koi are interesting fish. I wish they would not grow so big, but maybe when I get a pond, i'll add koi.

if only it didn't get so cold up here, we could build a round-the-year koi pond. sadly, it snows in the "feets" up here, and we have no where in the house for a massive tank to put them in for winter (maybe in the garage, but not the house)

Well, it gets cold here, but it is a bit warm in the afternoons! But I doubt we would set up one anyways. They still are cool!

I agree! They are very beautiful and neat fish! Did you know that koi can survive winters in a pond, as long as the pond is deep enough?
