Oh my gosh. I found a local fish club and went to one of their meetings tonight, and came home with 10 killifish!!! I'm hooked! I think these are my new favorite fish! (I'll tell you the names later, I saved the stickers but don't do very well remembering all the Latin names)

The names are "Epiplatys dageti" and "Aplocheilichthys normani" or Lamp eyes for short.

Yep! Those are the ones!

I thought I typed it correctly, at least, that's how it's spelled on the bag. It says "8 Lampeye Killifish..........Aplocheilichthys normani Wild....keep as groups"
The speaker doing the killifish presentation said to just call them Lamp eyes for now. He said the main part of their name to remember is the "Normani" They're very small, and the tops of their eyes get real bright like the blue on Neon Tetras under my lighting.

Then I must be extremly lucky to have 2-3 local fish clubs. I know people that go to all of them.
