I was just thinking of gettting some algae eating shrimp - but I'm thinking my kilifish might think they are tasty - does anyone know if kilis will eat shrimp?

Is this Aphysemion australe? How big are they? I wouldnt try in 10G but would def try in well (packed) planted larger tanks. Simple poke due to curiosity may do enough damage on shrimps.
I have Seahorse which killed off all of my prawns, even the one that bury themselves in the sand, by simply poking at them. Seahorses have tiny mouth so cant swallow. I would see them poking and would find dead prawns from time to time.

yes, the golden wonder killifish...right now they are each about 2 inches long...
I do have a ten gallon tho...
I expect the little floating guts will eat anything they can swallow!

the killifish are 2 inches long, and the shrimp are one inch long - its been a day and all the shrimp are still accounted for - I guess they are too big to eat, the killifish hardly look at them.

night time may change things. they are pretty voracious eaters.

i have a golden killifish thats about 2inches maybe 2 and some. and i have " had" 5 glass shrimp. i thought they where just dieing off until a few days ago i saw my killi with a overstuffed mouth full of shrimp.. pretty cool actually, but you should be alright for a while..
