| generally scratching is a sign of ich, have you noticed any white spots that look like some shook salt on them?
to treat ich if they have it, just slowly raise the temp to about 84F (one degree per hour) for two weeks, make sure you do a thorough gravel vacuum of the tank to get up all the spores and add an airstone or bubble wand to prevent decreased oxygen due to the higher temperatures.
a lot of the spores are actually in the gills where you can't see them, so if there is still a spot or two on your fish at the end of two weeks, continue leaving the temp high until all of the spots are gone, and leave it for another three days or so. |

| k thank god
this guy scared the holy pants out of me
im getting a 55 gallon for sure know and want to add one more breeding pair of either kenyi or bumblebee cichlids is that adviseable
as in i know a kenyi pair would be fine but what about the bumblebee |

| If you keep the acei in the tank that they are in right now, the psuedo crabro would be fine in the 55 w/ the kenyi.
Both being from the pseudo group will cause issues. |

| k sounds good the acai i have are only liuke 1.5 nch in size and the bumblebees i get would be at least 2.5 in size but im leaning towards another kenyi pair there so beautiful and hopefully this time my male wont turn orange and he will stay yellow |

| If I were you and putting them in a new tank, I would get the psuedo crabro (keep in mind they are in demand from good breeders right now so its a great idea to breed them), the kenyi group (go for another female or two, more fry, less aggression)
And if its a 55g you can go w/ another species, either mel, afra, or tropheops. I think afras are wonderful,t here are so many colors. |

| There are so many afras to choose from, mel, and the tropheops, here is the cichild-forum profiles on the different species. I have seen a lot of the afra's for sale, and the mel, the tropheops are harder to get. http://www.cichlid-forum.com/profile...gory.php?cat=2 |
