I had to make an emergency stop at the
LFS yesterday as my male Kenyi got too aggressive. He was getting so aggressive toward the female that she could no longer hide in the tank...anywhere. Knowing that she would not survive the stress, I decided to make a change...and that meant finding a new home for both. MY LFS was very understanding and told me to bring them both in and they would be placed in the 125 gallon tank. This had to be done and was best for my entire tank. My Krib was so happy to be able to move about the tank freely once again. He immediately tried to re-establish his dominance in the tank. So, what did I come home with from the LFS? I got a male OB Peacock (Hybrid) and 2 small male Brichardi's. We named the Peacock Reupert and the Brichardi's, Sharkey & Richard. Everyone seems to be getting along fine...except the Krib (Sammy) and Reupert. Sammy tried his best for a while to establish dominance but Reupert fianally had enough and fought back. They seem to enjoy their own end of the tank just fine. I'll need to keep an eye on these two for a while. Hopefully, I can have harmony once again in my tank.
