Mama has FINALLY moved them right next to me near the glass! its her 5th time moving them and I kept asking her to move them closer to me (my chair sits right beside the tank in the living room )
well other fish are becoming more brave, so gramma (ME) borrowed some babies from the nest to try to save some ...mom still moved hundreds more to the back of the tank again but she is getting tired from protecting so much ...I want to raise some fry so I "borrowed" a hundred or so and put them in a breeder box
I have moved the breeder box to another tank as mom and dad were attempting to suck out the babies through the hole
ty ladies!! right now they are getting finely crushed spirulina, golden pearls (thanks carol!)decapsulated shrimp eggs, and finely crushed cichlid flakes wish I could see how many mama moved ...she hid them this time LOL
was up till 1am helping her guard LOL...the br parrots are more brave as they grow with age...they are nawty fish! I really want some fry so im helping her out thats all

heres 3 small vids of mom and dad (which are HUGE compared to the kid) collecting the babes and putting them back in the nest....I think the kids are grounded!!
No matter how many times I see it its still so hard to believe that those itty bitty tails and eyes turn into such big fish!!! Love them Shawnie they are such cuties!!!!
