Good afternoon! The larger one really does look a lot better. Hard to say about the other little guy/gal. Your Angels are BEAUTIFUL!
ty ken!!! my fellow woman sidekick!!!!
this is for my ~AUNTIE LUCY~
Im a really nice boy...im about 6 inches and havent caused any problems since my mom rescued me about 1 1/2 years ago...I like all fellow aquatic friends as you can see...I do my chores without being asked and I also do others chores when they dont clean up their messes Im in the 55 gal right now as my fellow brotha's and sistah dempseys, gave me some boo boo's because they decided to go against moms advice, and went out and had babies..they do not play nice in our sandbox anymore so im hanging out here for now...If you would like me to come live with you, I would do my best to be a good boy and you wont be unhappy with me because I have a cheesy smile every time you come near my tank yellow_guy_smiling_really_big_hg_wht.gif
OMG Shawnie! I'm so sorry! I was just getting ready to post on the little guys......My heart goes out to you...He could never have found a better home and I know you gace him the best chance for survival.....
Oh NO! Shawnie I am sooo sorry that you lost him. I know you did everything you could for him, and gave him the very best shot at life that you could. It was just his time for some reason...
ty everyone..I really appreciate it....I just wish I knew what the heck happened...if any would have passed, id have thought the small one with the bent body and totally crooked spine ...I did just feed him about an hour before, hikari cichlid pellets for small fish..maybe he choked on it grrrrrrr...I do appreciate everyones concern I just am frustrated because he looked so good in the vid and I was so much more worried about the smaller one and its a shock...
I understand how you feel, second guessing what you did and everything...I have been doing so much of that this past week. I know I am the type of person that would wonder if he choked or if it was something else I did or didn't do...
However, I need to tell you what you've been telling me: you are doing your best for your fish, everything that you possibly can, and sometimes it just doesn't work. It was this poor little guy's time to go, despite your loving care. It is most likely that he would have passed at that time regardless of having some food an hour before, so at least he spent his last bit of time with you enjoying a snack and feeling the love that you shared with him. That, to me, is an amazing thing and is, above all, the most important thing of all.
Hi Shawnie.. , Im so sorry to hear that you lost one of the EBJDs. That was the one that was shy and we couldnt really see it in your vid right? I have heard regardless of the hard time these guys have had before coming to you, that the EBJDs are very sensitive fish to keep, much more sensitive than our regular JDs who IMO are not sensitive at all.
I know how badly you wanted the EBs and hopefully the surviving one will get better under your care. You did everything you could do by taking them out of the horrible situation they were in but sometimes they are just too sick to recouperate. Im so sorry my friend..
on another note... I have room in my 125 for a bala if you ever come down, Im sure my sole bala would love the company.
