You'll see what I mean shortly. Well today I got bored. It's snowing again (Chardon, Oho) and I have two sick daughters home instead of @ school and I did not work. Sooooo I decided to move some stock around.
I've been raising some blue gene jacks in my 75 and have culled them down to around 20. The latest culling did not go well. The six I threw in my 125 were all still here and thriving. Seems nobody likes a free snack.
Today I did a
water change on my 125 and moved some fish. I took all my blue genes out of the 75 and they are now in the 125. The largest are 3" and the smallest is still only an inch. I have a few keepers and some that I am waiting to see how they grow. It's fun to watch them all together.
The other fish with them are 4 juvenile synspilum, juvenile festae, 3" salvini, firemouth, texas, male nicarguensis, a nice fat female jack and a surprise you'll have watch for.
My plan is to just let everyone grow a little more and then reduce my stock down to a couple keepers to breed. Enjoy the show.
