Introducing : Jake the JD

Ok here is a little video I got last night of Jake playing hide and seek with me. Seems to be his favorite thing to do when I am around to get my attention, he is such a joker sometimes

He is such a brat, I bought frozen blood worms for him and my blood parrots and he grabbed a loose one today and was dragging the whole block behind him. Yeah I saw a green terror the other day at the LFS and I was amazed at how big it was, and I heard these guys get to be pretty big too, but is ok I love the goofy little guy

He doesn't really hide all the time, when I first come in the room he runs and hides but then comes right back out and stares at me with the blood parrots and my blue gourami begging for food....Bunch of bums

he's a real cutie fishmom! Just a note tho, as he does get bigger I would worry about those small fish swimming around in your video.
How is he getting along with your BR Parrots? Im always searching for other fish that can go with my JD's when they move to the 55g. I was wondering if I could keep a few BR's that are a good size with them in there?

Yeah those little fish will be the fun part, but as of the moment he couldn't care less that they are there. He seems to get along really well with my parrots, they do of course chase each other from time to time but I think it's just playing around, mine isn't all that aggressive either he seems to be quite a bit laid back, they are all about the same size to so I think that may help out some too. I would say all three of them are about 2 inches or so in length, my three spot gourami is bigger than they are and she rules the roost. It's funny as long as they leave her stump alone she is cool, but they all and Jake is the worst catch her not looking and run in the stump until she finds them.

He is a mess all in his own, since he got there my gourami has livened up quite a bit, I think she was lonely and he keeps her occupied to the fullest. She follows him more than any other fish in the tank, I think shes in love with him

That is so funny! Im glad to hear that at the moment, since they are all so small that everyone is getting along ok. Best of luck with them.

Yeah here's hoping since they are all growing up together that I won't have any issues with them being evil to each other in the future.
