Few months into the 75G's progress

Hello everyone,

Here are some pictures taken today of my 75 gallon tank. I have removed some plants already because they didn't grow too well (Hygrophila and Sagittaria mostly). Other plants, like Vallisnerias and Water Sprite are doing very well and have taken over the right side of my tank. The left side is pretty bare at this point as this is where most of the Hygrophila and large Sagittarias were. The front is bare too as I removed most short Sagittarias. I will soon order more plants and fill out the tank.

I know the pictures are not the best quality but it's so hard to photograph any fish. They're in constant motion. I'm afraid I won't be able to take any good pictures until I get a Nikon or Cannon camera with lenses.

Anyways, here is my planted tank with 2 Angelfish, 6 Cherry Barbs, 2 Harlequin Rasboras, and 2 Zebra Danios for now ... if you can see any of them (except for Angelfish and the close-up of Harlequin Rasboras). I'll get more fish soon (need algae eaters real bad as I'm starting to get some algae!).

Re: Few months into the 75G's progress

I love my pair of Angels. I've had them ever since I started fish keeping. Must be around 3 years now. Imagine that I had them first in a 10 gallon tank ... as any beginner, not knowing they need much more space. Luckily for them (and me, I guess) they were still young and growing, so I had the time to get a 30 gallon tank just in time (as I've learned all the things I was doing wrong, lol). And then ... I've decided a 30 gallon is too small for them too, and got a 75 gallon tank ... But, I am really dreaming of some 200-300 gallon giant planted tank! One day ...

I love my angels also. I have had one about a month after I started fish keeping on the big scale, which was a year and a half ago. I got my other one about 1-2 months ago.

I haven't been on this forum for a while, so I don't remember, but have you ever posted any pictures of your Angels? I'd love to see them
