Iridescent Shark Photos

Please use this topic to post your ID Shark photos. I'll leave it stickied so it appears at the top of the posts.

Thanks,
Mike

Please use your own photos, and not material from the internet.

While your compliments on the photos are really appreciated, text-only posts will be removed after a while to keep the gallery pictures-only. If there is a discussion you do not want to loose, please start it again in a separate thread.

Thanks,

Male Or Female

Just wondering if the pics are of a female, I have an iridescent shark but is longer and thiner looking. Very nice fish by the way

I believe I have one of each. Male and Female. The Female Iridescents are typically larger and stockier than the males. All of them are very large fish so judging by the thinner (rather than stocky) size you say yours is I would venture to say Male. Just guessing though as there is no other way to tell really.

What do you keep yours in? Mine are in 150 but I'll need more than that before too long.

Welcome to FishLore by the way!!!!!

Thank you
I have a 66 gallon but have a 200 gallon in my scope come spring time. I have many species, mostly small ones, all are doing well other then the shark dining on my loaches.
I bought my 2.5 year male from a fella that had him paired with two breeding females for a year. They had young, and did well. But in his last move the females were killed by the very large gold fish he had.
