They're white and range in size from about the size of a pencil eraser to maybe the size of a penny. Do starfish grow from small bits hiding in live rock? We haven't added any new live rock since we first started the tank. We don't have any other starfish (we tried an orange linkia but he died a few months ago). I've counted about 7 of these little guys. 2. There are these little snail/slug-like creatures. They have mouths like our snails but they don't seem to have snail shells (although they have what seems like the "beginnings" of a shell). Could they be baby snails? They range in size from about a pea to maybe the size of a baby carrot.
Rob, I may have the same thing. These are small white things that attach on my aquarium glass and seem to multiply rapidly, they look like baby starfish but I believe they are just some kind of pest as i am sure i have no starfish in my tank. I would like to find out what they are called and how to get rid of them!! mark in atlanta

Hi Welcome to Fish Lore
I moved your post out of the other thread, it was pretty old and you'll get more responses in your own thread.
I kept the quote in tact as you said whatever you have looks like what Rob had.

Hopefully some of our salty members can help you.
Good luck.
