Help id this hitchiker good or bad???

not sure what tthis is, its growing on one of my rocks. Looks like bubble algae but red. is this a good algae?

Bubble algae is not good and is hard to get rid of.......

Bubble algae can be in green and red as far as i know..

Our salty is covered with purple algae. It doesn't hurt anything just there.

Without a clearer picture, it looks like cyanobacteria. Does it come away from the rock if you try syphoning it up?

If this is cyanobacteria its bad, but manageable, I have it in my tank as well.

Make sure your nitrates and phosphates are as close to 0ppm as possible, maybe rearrange or add some powerheads to create no dead spots. Defrost and rinse all frozen foods before you buy them. Make sure alkalinity doesn't drop low (the reason i can't get mine to go away - i can't keep my alkalinity in normal ranges)

Well if it is bubble algae you can pull the bubbles off put make sure not to pop them
