Some new inhabitants

Got some new things showing up.

One is a very small (about the size of a pencil eraser) starfish looking critter. I've seen about half a dozen in the past couple of months. They're white and only have three limbs right now but they are growing. They follow the habits of the snails, crawling on the glass, rocks and sand. I had a starfish for over a year but he's been gone for over 3-4 months and now these things show up. What are they and what can I expect from them.

Secondly is a ball growing under a rock ledge. It's a little smaller then a golf ball and is a dull yellow in color. It has a small hole in the front and the inside seems to have a honeycomb pattern. I've yet to see anything come in or out of it but it is growing. What is it and what can I expect?

Oh yea, the tank is a 125 reef. I've got many many different types of polyps and corals. I've got fish ranging from a clown to a drawf lion. I've got about 200 lbs of rock and a brittle sea star that'll make anyone envious. He can litarally reach out of the tank with his body on the sand. His limbs are approx. 16" long and his body is about half the size of a coffee cup. We've had him for just over 4 yrs. I've got a wet/dry system with a skimmer and sterilizer etc. I only use RO water and I do a 20 gl change every other weekend, the water's perfect all the time. If my nitrates hit 40 I panic, it normally stays in the 20-25 range. Literally EVERYTHING is flourishing.

I really would appriciate any help/advice anyone could give on these things. Thank you in advance

Scott
