I've been feeding it and now it looks like it's splitting. Would like to know if it is a good one or... (There are more making their appearance on that same rock.) Hope you can see the pics - taken today shortly after feeding so it is not fully extended. First noticed it about a month ago and thought it was fleshy waste to be scraped off the new live rock (in QT). It withdrew into a pink stump when touched so I fed it and it ate. Base is dark pink to purple and tentacles are transparent with white tips. Nickname is Audrey cause it would eat 10 times a day if I would feed it that much. The more it eats, the bigger and more color it gets. NOBODY else in the tank will take food away from this baby. Thanks for any help!

Looks like something that I found on my rock shortly after I bought it, it didn't last long. Could be some sort of sponge. The feeders on mine would only be out at night though...

Sorry I'm not much help!
