miracle?

yesterday I bought small (max.4cm) cleaner shrimp for my tank and what happen today,I have 2 shrimps.I have no idea how this is happen but he doesnt even looks like cleaner shrimp(I can see through him).My tank is small(20g) and is 5 months old,it is not possible that he was hiding somewhere.I attached 2 photos,1 with the one I bought and 2 photo with the one from today.And the last think,he is the samke size or maybe evan bigger than the one I bought yesterday.Any ideas??

u dont have two shrimps, the shrimp u just got just molded which they do like every month. what u see is the outer "skin" of the shrimp. leave it in there though it will probably eat it or your cleaning crew will.

He grew up a little. Since their skeleton,not skin;is on the outside of the body,as the insides grow,they have to shed the older,smaller skeleton. It is called an 'exoskeleton'

Yeah, it molted- I went through the same shock when my fiddler crab molted. I found the exoskeleton and thought he had died... Until I noticed him peaking out from inside our tunnel.
