Did they just come out of nowhere? Check out this link and see if it matches:

There is something called Aiptasia. That could be it. Very evil. I believe that peppermint shrimp love to eat the stuff though.

I don't think that they are Aiptasia, they are not clear. They look like a zoa but not quite.
They where in the tank when we got it. They are all over, plus one is on the wall of the tank which makes me thing that they are majano anemones/

I think I might try the boiling water in the "mouth" trick on a few and see what happens.

we have ID! They are majano anemones. They are just a few months shy of taking over the whole tank. We are using a homemade version of joe's "water". Its just pickling lime and RO water. We killed about 10 of them. I think that is about how many are going to try and kill ever day or every other.
We might try the light off for 24 hr and see if that gets them to move and release there hold on the rocks and then we can just pluck them off and put them into a tub of bleach water.

If I ever get the money, I'm just going to start a tank of "hitchhikers". These guys look as neat as the aptaisia

they are BAD! there are at lest 100-150 in there. We may have to use a copper banded butterfly fish to get rid of them.
