Baby snail or something else all together?

Hmm, not sure what these are. They look like semisnails. They have some what of a striped shell with little white things coming poking off it. It eats algea at night and has the body of a typical snail. I have had many streaks of snail eggs in my tank so it could be a baby Cerith but the shell looks different so far. Anyway here's a photo.

I have added a circle around the creature in question. Click the photo in the first post to see it.

I'm thinking baby snail. They've developed a little more shell now and look more snail like tahn before.

It's a stometella (not sure if the spelling is correct). They eat algae. I have a bunch in my tank. After awhile you'll see the babies on your tank. They usually are clear. I haven't had any problems with them yet and have been told they are good for your tank.

Yeah, it has the body of a Cerith snail. They lay eggs all the time. I think it's just the baby shell looks weird. The larger ones have a more mother of pearl color to them now. The shell is growing and getting more snail like. They do spend their time muching away at algae so they're are a welcome addition for sure.

Mine have been all kinds of colors. Makes me wonder if what they eat effects what color they are. But they seem to have their shells grow with them.
