Really cross breeding species is a personal choice. Most people who breed Africans prefer to keep the them pure so the blood lines dont get muddied up. It really comes down to a personal choice and what your comfortable with. All we can do is give you information about it. African's in the wild do not cross breed. Only when they are in the aquarium without the proper male female ratio do they begin to cross breed. It can cause problems if someone else breeds the offspring with another fish. You end up not knowing what kind of fish it is. Diet, water, and compatibility all become effected. If you do want to do this you need to do it responsibly. Let people know that's it's a hybrid and let them know what fish the parents are. They might be ugly and noone will want them and you'll be stuck with upward of 300 fish. You wont' be able to keep all of them, plus the parents will keep breeding. I personally would not recommend it but it is your choice.
