How do I put a avatar?

I think you go to "My Settings", where it will show you your profile. Then, press Customize Profile (the tiny words near "last activity"), and in the left there will be a control panel. Under Settings & Options will be "Edit Avatar".

I'm sorry, I don't understand what you mean.
You can either upload one of your own or choose from some already in the system.
If you follow the link I gave, it's pretty self explanatory.

Edit: If you choose one from the list, you have to click on the circle that is at the bottom left of the avatar, next to the the name.

If you want to upload your own pic, scroll down, click Use Custom Avatar and either upload a picture from your computer or use the url from another web site.

Always remember to save it

I'm sorry, I edited my post.
Did you click the little circle at the bottom left of the avatar?

Edit: Try this...at the top left click My Settings--->Edit Options.
Then look on the left hand side of the page. Scroll down to Settings and Options.
You see Edit Avatar, click that.

Those are the directions...once you click Edit Avatar, it will direct you.
