ummm..... how do i put a picture in my profile background and customize it (the profile page, i mean) and stuffs?

For an overall profile background, you want the Background Image field in the 'Main' section.

when i do thast, it only does it as a background behind my username and my big tab. go see for youselves!

The image you've chosen is fairly small.

If you want it to tile (or repeat itself over and over to fill space), you need to change the value in the Repeat drop-down to either Horizontal, Vertical, or Both.
