| | Moderator | Multiple quote a thread Hello everyone!!!!! (love the new smileys )
I wanted to share some information to help keep things running smooth!! Although Im sure the new host will be much better, theres no need to take up space and bandwidth and such when we dont need to...so heres a tip that gets avoided ALLOT and wanted to explain how to multiple quote threads for those that do not know....for those that do and use it , THANK YOU!!!!!!
when you "QUOTE" a post, and you need to do "MULTIPLE" quotes as many members have answered, please use the "MULTIPLE" quote button and do it all in one thread....holding your mouse over each of the buttons on your thread, EDIT, QUOTE, ''(quotation marks), QUICK REPLY (the pencil), or SPEAK, will let you see what each button does...
the button beside the word QUOTE in your reply threads that looks like this " quotation marks would be hit on each comment you want to reply back too..then down below once you have checked the multiple threads you want to quote and reply to, you hit the word quote and all of them that you originally highlited will be there...then you can write and reply to each in one thread instead of having back to back posts that take up space and isnt needed....
please use this thread to practice if you wish, but also please make every attempt that you can to use that function to help keep the forum from using up needed resources and space
Thank you! |

| | Moderator | also, you can break up a long thread if you want to quote a bunch of parts by typing in the html code for it Quote: |
begins the part of the quote...then
|
or
no breaks in between each
ends it so putting those two into a particular sentence, allows you to break up parts of the thread and quote all or parts of a particular thread |
