The Life of a Thread?

How long does a thread stay posted here? Example is my Hatching Angel Fish thread... it is over, and old news, can I delete it or is it left on for info?

Eventually all threads hit the end of their time limit and get added to the archives. If you don't want people to comment or add anything more to it you can close it.

If no one posts there, it goes into the archives after 6 months.
You can lock it using the Fish Forum Thread Tools at the top right of your thread.
