I did a soft delete of the visitor messages because I want to try to customize my profile page and would like a clear workspace. Hard delete sounded scary, and I didn't want to offend friends by hard-deleting their messages, but now that I see what is left over, I would still like to clean it up. What do I do? I don't need to report anything, just clean up and have a clear workspace.
Also, tips on customizing would be helpful. It is a bit beyond me. I would like to set a backround, set the layout, different fonts and colors, etc. How?

You should be able to go back and hard delete them and they'll be completely removed.
I'll go do that for you.

Under my settings, click edit options.....on the left you'll see customize profile.
It's pretty self explanatory, but if you need more help, just ask.

What I did was disabled receiving them and saved, then I went back and enabled it again. That did the trick. I have no problem receiving visitor messages, I just made a mess. Now, I can start anew and get into customizing.
