Better Pictures

I have a Kodak V1073 (10 Mega pixels) camera. I can't seen to get many clear shots of my fish. I've tried changing the settings to action/sport, zoom/close up, I've tried with and without flash, changed the angle off the glass, and have used aquarium lighting, natural lighting and even exterior flood lighting. My odds are about one out of every 25 shots come out nice.

Besides buying another camera, can anyone give me any tips? Most of your photos are crystal clear.

Thanks for the link. I picked up a couple more ideas but it seems that patience is more the answer than the technical "stuff".

Patience, practice, and experimentation. If they are adjustable on your camera, play with the aperture and shutter speed settings until you find the best combination for your environment. No one can really tell you what values to use for what settings, because each environment and each camera are going to be different.

As Lucy said, though 1 shot in 25 worth keeping isn't bad It took me 50-60 shots to get a decent one when I first started... and I'm still around 1 in 20!
