How Do I: close threads

i've been a member for a while but i cannot figure it out. how do i close my old or inactive threads

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think only mods can close threads. Unless that is for any thread. If you want to close an old thread, just go to the top of the page to a drop down arrow that says something like 'Thread Options' and go to where it says 'Close Thread'. That should do it.

i would like to have the following closed...
this one, tiger barb: diseased or just fat, anyone know about red clawed crabs?, red clawed crabs, just started 10 gal brackish, & barbs keep scraping sides on rocks.

most of those problems have long since been solved or no one replied and i got info elsewhere. Thanx
