Ok, here is a step-by-step guide to upload pics to your profile album. The profile albums are different from the albums found in the main photo gallery.

So, you're thinking, "Why do I want to upload pics to my forum profile album?". Well, once you have pics in your forum profile album you can set a background image for your profile page. You can use either album (in your profile or the main gallery) to store your pics, but the main gallery has a much larger storage limit for your photos.

1. Go to your profile page (click your username in a post or via the my settings link above)

2. On the right side of your forum profile page you'll see an album box, click on "add album" or "show all albums".

3. On the page that loads click on "Add Album". Give your new album a title and description.

4. To get pictures into an album, first click into the album, then click on "Upload Picture". Click the "Browse" button to locate the pic on your computer.

5. Click the "Upload" button and thats all there is to it!

Cool tidbit:
Both the main gallery and the forum profile gallery have links below the images that already have the forum code set up for you to paste into a post. Posting images in posts using that code allows you to write stuff around the images, whereas just attaching them using the "attach" option in a post puts all the images at the bottom of your post.

The camera takes you to the gallery. It's a different part of the forum. You'd have to upload your pictures there.
