The bottom of the page shows GMT (Greenwich Mean Time)....so can I convert that to Eastern Daylight Time (which is the zone I am in) ?

You can set the time that you see on posts, etc. in your profile settings. Eastern should be GMT -4.

Thanks Guys, I knew I saw that feature sometime ago,(that's probably how it got changed ) and I couldn't find it again. -5 is for Eastern time.

Really? That's odd. I'm in mountain time and it says GMT -6.

Ummm, check the field, it's says -6 is central time, yours is -7 I think...take a look, you may need to change your setting too.....

The times are correct for me though. At the bottom of the page I see: All times are GMT -6. The time now is 6:09 PM in the land of Fish Lore.

Ah, I see.. in the options, it's -7 but on the page it's -6 because of the auto-detection for DST.

Okay, I chose the time -5GMT in the menu selections, ...yet the forum screen does show the correct time....DST must be in the program....Hmmmm

I'm just posting this to see what time it posts.
I'm central time and the bottom says -6, which should be correct, but in the land of Fish Lore it is an hour earlier than my clocks.
Sometimes ya'll confuse me., not all that hard to do. lol

Edit: Ok, it says I posted at 8:25, an hour earlier than my clocks.

If you're in central time, it should say -5 at the bottom of the page. -6 in the dropdown for the time zone under "edit options", under "my settings".. because of daylight savings time.

Wait!!! so I am 2 hours ahead of Fish Lore? No wonder I have to get on at like 10 to talk to people
