cant get into the private messages
In the e mail I used to register with this website.. I have a e mail from fishlore. I think its the standard "welcome to the site" e mail. The e mail says, to view this message click the link, but when i click on the link a pop up appears telling me I dont have permission to view this.. Is there something I need to do to get into this area?

That's probably your pop-up blocker telling you that you can't view the message because you have pop-ups blocked. I had that same thing happen. Just go into your messages from the upper-right corner.

I dont have a link in the upper right hand corner for messages. Is there some other place i need to look?

theres no link in the corner, just a box that says welcome nags1965 and if you have a pm, it will be there and you can click on it...goodluck

If I send a message via email (from their profile) will they use my email to get back to me or is it jut a lost message somewhere?
I don't have 50 posts, but I've been asked to PM people for information.
It's kind of hard to do that when I only have a few posts

The pm system requires at least 50 posts to prevent spammers from sending out PM's. If use the forum to email it should get forwarded to your email account that you used to sign up with.
